The Wizards of Winter. Featuring some of the mid-Atlantic’s finest rock and progressive musicians, The Wizards of Winter reprise much of the Trans Siberian Orchestra’s Christmas catalog including their greatest hits: Christmas Eve Sarajevo, Old City Bar, Christmas Cannon Rock, Queen of the Winter Night and many others.
During 2011 the band released their own album based on original Christmas material entitled ” Tales Beneath a Northern Star” in a similar but unique style and will perform it in its entirety as well . Board the Arctic Flyer on the night of Christmas Eve and take a musical journey in search of the true meaning of the season. This 11 member ensemble boasts soaring vocal harmonies, precision string instrumentation, powerful percussion and stunning keyboard work, layered around a rich storyboard that evokes December’s past!
